Options

Locate the Options sub-menu by clicking the main menu button, located in the upper right corner of the Curve Window.

Several sets of options are supported.

Curves The Curves sub-menu supports the curve display options, and is the same as the Curve right-click menu's Options item.

Sample The sample sub-menu controls the options affecting eyedropper sample calculation and display.

Sample Size specifies the size of the rectangular area used to calculate the value of a newly created eyedropper sample. See also Eyedropper Sample Points.

Continuous Update controls whether dragging a sample to which a constraint has been assigned will cause the image to update continuously, or only after the mouse button has been released. This option must be checked if you want to use threshold display mode for fine-tuning the placement of the shadow and highlight points. Note: Most systems in use today are fast enough that Continuous Update should always be enabled.

Test

The Test sub-menu contains several unsupported commands, some are used for internal testing at theCurvemeister Institute, Other commands are experimental in nature, and may or may not be promoted to the mainstream at a later date. Your version of Curvemeister may have a different set of commands than those shown here.

You are invited to try these commands out. Preview all Layers displays all the merged layers of an image in the preview window, instead of just the active layer . Invert Curve provides a way to create a curve that will, more or less, undo the effects of the original curve. Use the Pin Grid command to stabilize the curve before inverting.

Other commands are less interesting, or even inconvenient. Copy is the same as the channel copy icon in the image window, and Simulate Crash and Throw an Exception are used to test Curvemeister's built-in debugging and reporting system.
