The Image Preview Window

The Image Window in Detail

Eyedropper samples (samples for short) provide an important way to read colors, and to create curves quickly based on those colors. These are discussed in detail in the Eyedropper sample section of this manual. Create an eyedropper sample by alt-clicking on the appropriate image location. You may click and drag the eyedropper sample point, or drag its palette to a more convenient location. There is no limit to the number of sample points, and they are retained in the image file.
