This section describes what each menu item does. These commands are used
for creating and editing pins. To see how to use pins, see the section
on Using Pins.
- New Pin ...
creates a pin based on values you supply . After clicking on this pin,
the Pin Edit Dialog
to provide the text and color information for a pin..
- Edit Pin ...
modifies an existing pin. Move the cursor over the pin you wish to change,
then click the right mouse button. The Pin
Edit Dialog will
appear, initialized with the existing pin values.
- Duplicate Pin ...
similar to Edit Pin, but operates on a new copy of the pin under the
cursor.
- Delete Pin
deletes the pin under the cursor.
- Copy Pin as Text
copies the pin under the cursor to the clipboard. Example: Skin 1: HSB(31.000°,33.333,43.529%)
- Edit <filename>
opens a text editor session for the the current pin tab's text file.
The filename changes to reflect the file from which the pins were read.
- Pin File
- New Pin File ...
creates a new pin file, and a corresponding tab in the pin palette.
- Open Pin File ...
opens a specified pin file.
- Manage Pins ...
opens a Windows Explorer browse session on the pin file folder.
This allows you to use Windows file operations to move and copy
pin files. Most often, you will be copying files from the Goodies
folder into the Swatches folder, so that they will be loaded by
default when Curvemeister starts, or when you click on the Refresh
All Pins command is selected.
- Refresh All Pins
initializes all the pins from the pin files, as if Curvemeister
were just starting. If you have changed pins, do a Save All
Pins command first, or you will lose your changes.
- Save All Pins
Saves any changed pins to their pin files. This command is usually
not needed, since Curvemeister will save any changed pins after
you return to Photoshop.
- Browse for New Pins ...
Opens the Curvemeister
Pin Collection web page, where you may check for new pins
and download them, and access more detailed information about the
pins that are shipped with Curvemeister.
