A note for version 1.0 owners. Many people will decide to stick with version 1.0 for the time being. Perhaps you have never really gotten up to speed with curves, or feel that there are plenty of excellent features in 1.0 and you don't really need to spend your money right now to play the obsolesence game.

If you own 1.0 and have no immediate plans to upgrade, be assured that you remain an important member of the curvemeister community. Although new features will not be added to 1.0, we will continue to provide support for your investment in 1.0 in the form of bug fixes. There will be at least one more "fix release" for 1.0, to address a bug affecting initial zoom settings in Photoshop CS, and a bug in control-clicking to add control points. If other serious problems come up with 1.0, there will be other fix releases.

For those of you who have not really started to use curves yet, I would like to suggest that you check out 2.0 to see if it opens the door just a bit wider. Color pinning is a fun, fast, and easy way to set known colors, such as flesh colors, in your images, and you may find that this is so easy to do that you simply have to have it. The hue clock is a very useful new way to look at your image's colors, and a fun way to experiment with and examine the colors of your image.

I hope this has both reassured you that Curvemeister takes your investment in 1.0 seriously, and intrigued you to install the demo take a look at the new features.

When the time comes to decide, remember that our upgrade policy ensures that every penny, and then some, of your version 1.0 investment will go toward your purchase of Curvemeister 2.0.
