I cant get this shot right - can you

I just love this image - mystery how they were made .
But I can not adjust it to my liking - Help! can you?

Isn't it just a matter of applying the correct white balance? I tried that. But I agree that the contrast doesn't seem right...

Once again into the breach eh?

OK I went with a high key so the darkest shadow should not be below 50% but then I hit the it just doesn't look right point and started twiddling

I went with a BTN correction and bumped the middle tones a bit to make the contrast range look right...

Later I took first image(sharpening and desat)and did a select color range,invert mask then hue saturation set to cyanotype.GJM
