Mike,
This would relate to Access control during install as well.  PS protects the install directories as you remember...we had this issue with some of the other parts of the install..

Jean,
I misunderstood, sorry.  I will set up the "remote control" software and let you know how to connect.

Jean Pierre,  I have sent you a separate email with directions on how to set up a support session on your system.  Please let me know if you have not yet received the email.

Hi,

I'm posting in this thread because it pretty much describes my problem.

I'm using XP SP3, 32 bit. I just installed Photoshop CS5 32-bit and Curvemeister crashes it in spectacular fashion.

First I downloaded 3-3.2.0 and when I tried to install it, I was surprised to discover that there was no checkbox for CS5. (CS5 is six months old now.)

So I checked 'Other' and browsed to the plugin directory, which seemed to work. When I tried to invoke it, however, I got part way through the opening dialog (it defaults to using the wizard) and then--boom!

I uninstalled, reverted to 3-3.0.19, same result. I found this thread, which I realize is a few months old, but I see no resolution other than Mike Russell needs to take remote charge of my computer. Is there a better solution by now? Does Curvemeister support 32-bit CS5 yet?

I find this frustrating because I use (and love) the Curvemeister a lot.

Honu,
I think the 3.2.5 version resolves this.  I'll tag this for Mike and See what his response is...If you cannot see the 3.2.5 version on the download page Let me know that...

Honu,

Yes, as Greg mentioned there is a new version 3.2.5 - located in the beta area:
http://curvemeister.com/downloads/cm3_beta/

Be sure to get the photoshop and elements version

NO problem posting to this thread - sometimes things can get lost, so it's usually better to start your own thread.

Thanks for the quick response. It works now. I can't tell you how happy this makes me.

Mike, I have vers 3.2.0  I have both PS CS5 in 32 and 64 bit versions  and the pins function doesn't work in either.
Is there a new version available? I'm without the pins now for a long time :)
Kind regards

Hi Ganna,

Yes, I think 3.2.5 will fix the pin problem that you are seeing:
http://curvemeister.com/downloads/cm3_beta/

The corresponding 64 bit version is 3.2.3

Thanks Mike, Have not yet check all of CM. In 32 bit (vers 3.2.5) the pins are back ;D Unfortunately not in the 64 bit version. (vers 3.2.3)
