Is it possible to load CM with a predefined set of curves?
« on: October 15, 2009, 01:39:42 PM »
Hi Mike,

I am finding that I am doing 2 passes of CM for a lot of my images
a) for basic colour cast corrections and luminosity - normally rgb
b) for lab colour saturation

What I would like to do, for the (b) step, is to start CM so that a L channel mask is already loaded along with the Lab curves.  Is there anyway I can save a curve along with a L mask, so that I can start CM with that curve already loaded? - obviously it needs to be the L channel from the current image, not the one I saved?

I know I can do this with a couple of mouse clicks, but it would save me having to remember to load a mask!

Thanks
Chris

ha...your attempt to short cut the PPW is admirable.... ;D

This one is for Mike...I know of no way to load a K mask from an Image without creating one...
have you tried this as a smart filter??

BTW this topic - PPW workflow support...did hit some serious discussion for CM4.....along with many others when I met Mike last month...
