Feeding blackbird

Here's a tricky image. My longest lens is only 200mm, so it's not ideal for bird shots. To get a shot of this blackbird feeding her chick I set the camera up about 3 metres away and used a remote screen device and a long cable from my house to shoot via remote control. This approach works, but since the camera is 10 metres away it rather leaves me at the mercy of auto-everything.

There's not a lot to go on here. It was a bright summer's day and the bush was heavily shadowed. I don't think there are any neutrals in the image. The wire the adult bird is on is a dark green colour. See what you can do with it.

First work done in HSB ,then a touch of saturation slider inLab to restore some yellow to the beaks ,then a bit of luminosity sharpening.I thought I had a polarizing filter among my plug ins, that's what I tried to mimic in HSB.GregM
Shade of wood?
