Bit of a problem image
« on: November 05, 2008, 02:48:17 AM »
Hi,

I've been a bit busy organising a photo exhibition with the objective of getting local people more interested than just taking snapshots - got quite a good response of 27 people & 140 images.

Here is a (snap!)shot from the event (not taken by me) - I had great problems with sodium lights in the church - most I replaced with tungsten (5 out of 6), but this shot has both in there as well as a touch of daylight.

See what you can do with just CurveMeister - although a touch of focusing/sharpening wouldn't come amiss as it was 1/4sec handheld.

Ok...

I went for the easy kill shot....

I used the conversion files Mike has so kindly included in the program.  There is a ACV file you can load using the convenient "Load" button, that converts Tungsten to Daylight in RGB.  Shot 1 and 2

I then set a neutral. and closed the image.

I reopened in LAB and re-set the neutral.  I then tweaked the color saturation a bit and adjusted the L curve to open the shadows a bit.  Shot 4

Wow - I think that is excellent GregM

And thanks Greg for the conversion info - there's just too many things for me to remember with CM.  I must start making crib sheets!
